Role Purpose
- The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for driving the company’s financial strategy, ensuring robust financial governance, and supporting business growth through effective planning, performance management, and stakeholder engagement.
- The role requires a hands-on finance leader who can operate both at a strategic and execution level, working closely with the leadership team to enable sustainable and profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy & Business Partnering
- Partner with CEO and leadership team to define and drive long-term business strategy
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making, growth initiatives, and investments
- Drive P&L management, profitability improvement, and cost optimization
2. Planning, Budgeting & Performance Management
- Lead annual operating plan, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Establish robust MIS and performance tracking frameworks
- Drive variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
3. Cash Flow, Treasury & Fund Management
- Ensure strong cash flow planning and working capital management
- Manage banking relationships, fund raising, and financing strategies
- Optimize capital structure and liquidity
4. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements
- Strengthen internal controls, audit processes, and risk mitigation frameworks
- Oversee financial reporting accuracy and timeliness
5. Finance Transformation & Digitization
- Drive finance process improvements, automation, and ERP optimization
- Build scalable systems and processes aligned with business growth
- Lead initiatives on cost efficiency and shared services (if applicable)
6. Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performance finance team
- Strengthen team capability, governance culture, and accountability
- Act as a mentor and coach for key finance talent
7. Stakeholder & Investor Management
- Support leadership in investor relations, board presentations, and stakeholder communication
- Provide clear, insightful financial narratives to internal and external stakeholders
Education
- CA Qualified
- Knowledge of local and IFRS accounting principles
- Knowledge of Fiscal legislation
- Knowledge of Costing Accounting
Experience
5 - 10 years experience as CFO in a multinational company
Over all experience 20+ years
Proven experience as CFO / Finance Head in mid-to-large organizations Strong exposure to manufacturing / FMCG / services environment Experience in ERP (SAP preferred), finance transformation, and compliance frameworks
